A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique digital item held on a blockchain where proof of ownership is easily shown.
On OpenJungle, NFTs are used to represent digital and physical artwork which can include but is not limited to exclusive access
to redeem a physical product or high-res download. For more information about NFTs click.
A royalty is a certain percentage of the sale price that is automatically held in an escrow contract when a sale is
successful and sits securely until withdrawn by the original creator. It is set during the creation process and cannot
be changed due to the nature of a blockchain. At OpenJungle we have a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 50% able to be set.
At OpenJungle security is a top priority, which is why we have chosen to minimize any payment interceptions from hackers
and do not send payments directly to an artist's wallet. When you have received a payment for a sale, go to your profile (top-right in the navigation bar) and you will see
an available balance to withdraw under your bio. Secondary sale payments received (royalties) are also withdrawn the same way.
While we don't offer an option to delete your masterpiece, if you'd really like no one to be able to own
your artwork ever again you can transfer it to this address: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead
This is an irreversible action, so proceed with caution.
The roadmap focuses on the development of the technology, operations infrastructure
new partnerships, and marketing initiatives.
