A royalty is a certain percentage of the sale price that is automatically held in an escrow contract when a sale is successful and sits securely until withdrawn by the original creator. It is set during the creation process and cannot be changed due to the nature of a blockchain. At OpenJungle we have a minimum of 1% and a maximum of 50% able to be set.
At OpenJungle security is a top priority, which is why we have chosen to minimize any payment interceptions from hackers and do not send payments directly to an artist's wallet. When you have received a payment for a sale, go to your profile (top-right in the navigation bar) and you will see an available balance to withdraw under your bio. Secondary sale payments received (royalties) are also withdrawn the same way.
